We find that we must state that the following violations of policy will result in an immediate implementation of extra charges depending on the efforts required to return our property to normal

Guests are not authorized to invite others over to grounds, the houses nor to the pool.  We are not equipped as a party venue.

Guests are not permitted  to move furniture for photos. We are not wedding staging venue for makeup and hair, or a wedding photo venue due to photographers moving furniture and leaving it. Our staff is not physically able to move heavy furniture back into place and we will have to hire someone when this happens.

There is a no smoking policy both inside and out - smoking may require a complete cleaning of all surfaces to remove the odor and up to two days of airing out a room in order to make it  habitable by other guests.

Same day Reservations require that they be made online by 1pm at the latest for a same day arrival. For our planning purposes we will not accept last minute guest reservations nor late night phone reservations.

Processed in full at time of reservation. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Check or Cash.

We allow arrival time flexibility with 24 hour notice or by prior arrangement as long as there is good "advance" communication. Contact us if needed.

 The ability to reach you on your cell phone is especially helpful - and a must if there is a need for arrival flexibility.

Each room is unique - with individual characteristics and amenities, as such room rates vary. See the individual room descriptions to assist you in choosing or call with any questions. Rates are subject to change and may vary during high impact periods, seasonal changes and/or with special requests.

6% Pa State and 5% Local Hotel Tax.

Allegheny Graduation has a 3 night stay minimum.

Some weekends may have a 2 night stay minimum for Friday and Saturday.

 Though we do not provide food, you may have other allergies or important information you would like us to be aware of. Please inform us ahead of time at info@mayorlords.com

 Exception: If arranged in advance the Garden Studio Apartment can accommodate (minimum stay and some restrictions apply -please call for information) 1 small well behaved dog for an extra $50.00 a night charge and of course Service/Therapy Dogs with papers are allowed.

The following types of reservations can significantly impact our business if cancelled without sufficient notice and are therefore handled in the following way

In the unlikely event that you must cancel without appropriate notice (listed below), shorten your stay or check out early, your credit card may be charged the full amount unless we are able to re-book your room(s). Changes in weather or in personal plans do not change our cancellation policy, but good advance communication may.

ONE ROOM:  Requires a 2 (two) day "phone or e-mail" notice of cancellation.

MULTIPLE ROOMS FOR A SINGLE NIGHT RESERVATION: Require a 10 (ten) day "phone or e-mail" notice of cancellation.

SINGLE ROOM LENGTHY RESERVATIONS (THREE OR MORE DAYS): Require a 10 (ten) day "phone or e-mail" notice of cancellation.

MIXED ROOM RESERVATION WITH ONE OR MORE ROOMS COMBINING TO REACH A TOTAL NIGHTS STAY (OF 3 DAYS AND UNDER 5 DAYS) COMBINED: Require a 10 (ten) day "phone or e-mail" notice of cancellation. If cancelled after 10 days there is no refund unless the rooms are re-booked and then only on those rooms that we are able to re-book and at the re-booking rate as received by the Innkeeper.

MULTIPLE ROOMS COMBINED WITH A LENGTHY RESERVATION (THREE OR MORE DAYS): May require a 30 (thirty) day "phone or e-mail" notice of cancellation required. No refund unless the rooms are re-booked and then only on those rooms that we are able to re-book and at the re-booking rate as received by the Innkeeper.

WHOLE HOUSE BOOKINGS: May require a 30 (thirty) day "phone or e-mail" notice of cancellation. Additionally any remaining balance must be paid 30 days prior to arrival. No refund unless the rooms are re-booked and then only on those rooms that we are able to re-book and at the re-booking rate as received by the Innkeeper. 

Acts of war, Civil disruption, storm or natural disaster, Covid-19 and/or other pandemic responses, including last minute changes in an event date or an event postponement. The above listed exclusions are not covered by our insurance policies. However, in the event a guest is impacted by one of the above exclusions we will be happy to accommodate a reservation date change if our reservation calendar allows.
